This was very well explained and something that a lot of people misunderstand. I’ve repeatedly and unsuccessfully tried to explain, to my friends, that the tax is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is your bottom line or your ROI. They also have a hard time understanding tax brackets and many refuse to accept a promotion due to being too focused on the increased taxes that would be due, completely ignoring that their bottom line would also have increased. They are too focused on the irrelevant things and ,unfortunately, their mindset just isn’t “there” yet.
